About this role

Responsibilities: - Monitor entrances, exits, and general grounds to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety. - Conduct regular patrols of the facility, general areas, parking areas, emergency units, and restricted zones - Manage visitor access and visitation rules and ID requirements. - Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency calls, including fire, theft, violence, or suspicious activity. - Assist in managing aggressive or disruptive individuals, ensuring de-escalation and safety. - Support emergency response procedures (e.g., evacuations, lockdowns, fire drills). - Maintain detailed logs and incident reports as required. Requirements: - Minimum of SSCE/High School Diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in security, especially in high-traffic environments, is an added advantage. - Physically fit, with the ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods. - Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response protocols is a plus. - Excellent communication and observation skills. - Integrity, alertness, and ability to handle stressful situations calmly. - Ability to work independently and within a team. - Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
