• •Phone number — used as your login and for employers to contact you after interview invite
• •Full name — displayed on your profile and CV
• •Location — your area in Lagos, used to match you with nearby jobs
• •Work experience and skills — displayed on your CV to employers
• •Education and training — displayed on your CV
• •Guarantor details — name, phone and relationship, used for identity verification
• •WhatsApp messages — when you register or apply for jobs through our WhatsApp bot, we collect the messages you send us for the purpose of creating and updating your worker profile
• •Payment information — when an employer tops up their wallet, the payment is processed by Paystack. We record the transaction amount and status, but we never see or store your card details — those are handled entirely by Paystack

• •To create and manage your account
• •To match workers with relevant job opportunities
• •To allow employers to review worker profiles and CVs
• •To reveal worker phone numbers to employers only after an interview invite is sent
• •To verify worker identities and guarantors
• •To process wallet payments and transactions
• •To send you notifications about your applications and job invites

Your phone number is protected on vWorka. Employers cannot see your phone number by simply viewing your profile or CV. Your phone number is only revealed to an employer after they send you a formal interview invitation.

This ensures your contact details are only shared with employers who are seriously considering hiring you.

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in these cases:

• •With employers — your profile, CV, skills and work history are visible to employers. Your phone number is only shared after interview invite.
• •With our team — vWorka staff may access your information to verify your account or resolve disputes.
• •Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by Nigerian law or court order.

We use Supabase for secure data storage with industry-standard encryption. Your password is never stored in plain text. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

You have the right to:

• •Request deletion of your account and data
• •Withdraw consent for data processing

vWorka uses cookies only for authentication purposes — to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

vWorka is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of vWorka after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
